Studio Policies

  1. The payment of the session fee is required at booking to secure the date. It is non-refundable but transferable to another date should you cancel 48 hours before.
  2. The session does NOT include digital files or products unless the package states so. They can be purchased separately.
  3. Photography by Valentina reserves the copyright of the photographs and the right to use them in advertising, marketing pieces, competitions and reproduction.  All images are copyrighted by Photography by Valentina, even those you purchase.
  4. Copying, scanning or reproducing images is strictly prohibited. Print-screening images from this website is also against the law. Please DO NOT COPY or save photos from my Facebook page, website or other social media. If you order your files we will provide web-seized watermarked files of the photos. Please do not alterate the image.
  5. For product orders, full payment is due at the time of order.
  6. Gallery will stay live for 3 days within you have to make your order. The gallery can be activated again when expired with an admin fee of £25 that will allow the access for another 3 days.
  7. We will be in contact once the product has arrived. Products need to be collected from us. Additional charges may be payable for delivery your products.
  8. Album, frames, prints and all the products are not refundable. Orders cannot be cancelled for the custom nature of the products.
  9. If your child is sick please give me at least 24 hours notice and we will reschedule at no cost. I am aware emergencies can happen with babies. However, if there is no call,  50% of the session fee will not be refunded and an additional 50% needs to be paid for the next session. A delay of 30 minutes without a call is considered as no show.
  10. If you have or are having a boy, please DO NOT CIRCUMCISE your child before your session. We will be swaddling your baby tightly while he is naked, and moving him from one position to another constantly during the session. This is very painful for a child who has just been circumcised. We will NOT photograph a newborn who has been circumcised less than 6 days prior to the session.
  11. You agree to hold harmless, Valentina, her representatives, employees and Photography by Valentina LTD, from any dispute in the event you or your family become injured during your session or while on the studio premises. Photograface by Valentina LTD and its representatives will not be held liable for any injury to you, your children or your family members, or for any damage to your property during the photo session or while on studio premises.
  12. Prices are guaranteed for 30 days after your session, in case of a change in pricing.

Newborn sessions with siblings, especially toddlers, can be unpredictable.
Some days they are all in. Other days they aren’t. And that’s okay.

This big sister wasn’t very keen on being in the photos. So instead of forcing it, I gave her a different role.
She became my assistant.
She helped me photograph her baby brother and her parents.
Suddenly, she felt special. She was part of the process. And Mum still got the beautiful family photos she wanted.

I find that involving toddlers and giving them a job to do works magic.
It shifts their energy from resistance to collaboration.
Everyone feels seen. Everyone gets their moment.

This is what 15 years of experience looks like. Knowing when to adapt. Knowing how to make it work for every member of the family.

If you’re expecting a second baby and worried about how your toddler will handle a newborn session, don’t be.

Mamma → Mummy → Mum → Vale…
and now I’m just Bruh or Buddy. 🙈

They grow up fast and one day they won’t even want to be in the photo!
