Gorgeous photos
Valentina was absolutely amazing! The photos are just gorgeous, she captured all the joy and overwhelming happiness of being new parents. Our boy looks like an angel in her shots that are intimate and delicate. She is clearly very experienced with babies as she knew all the tricks to calm our boy down when he started to be a little fussy during the session. We loved that she cuddled and comforted him, giving us all the time to feed, change and soothe him during the shooting.
We are extremely pleased with the session and we actually regretted that we didn't do the maternity one as well. We would definitely recommend Valentina and we hope to hire her again when we will have another baby! Thank you, Valentina, for giving us memories that we will treasure forever.

I met Valentina at the Northcote Road Christmas market and was very impressed with her portfolio and non-pushy sales manner. I had always regretted not doing newborn shots with my first born child, so vowed to find a good photographer for my second. Valentina fitted the profile immediately.
When we arrived at the studio, we were given delicious Italian coffee and biscuits whilst she prepared the background for the photoshoot.
She showed tremendous patience with settling my 2 week old daughter and we are delighted with the photos she took – she also did some gorgeous family shots which will take pride of place up on the wall.
I would not hesitate in recommending Valentina, and will definitely return for more professional shots of our family in the future.

I Was Worried but it Was Fantastic
On searching the internet for a newborn baby photographer I came across Valentina. Looking into her website and reading her many great reviews I knew that she could do a wonderful job to capture beautiful moments of my baby girl. Being my first experience, I was a little nervous to begin with because my baby was slightly unsettled at times and was worried that we would not have been able to take the desired photos that I wanted, but on the day of the shoot, Valentina did a fantastic job.
She was very good at creating a calm and relaxing environment and was extremely talented at handling my newborn so she was comfortable and so was able to get some amazing shots.
Her style is simple and natural which is what I love most about her work. We will cherish them forever.

Lots of talent and patience!
Valentina is a really professional photographer with talent and lots of Patience !! Sweet personality
We chose to do the Bump and Baby package with Valentina, so we could combine pregnancy and newborn photos. They were both such important moments to document and we are so in love with the album. Newborn sessions with siblings, especially toddlers, can be unpredictable.
Some days they are all in. Other days they aren’t. And that’s okay.
This big sister wasn’t very keen on being in the photos. So instead of forcing it, I gave her a different role.
She became my assistant.
She helped me photograph her baby brother and her parents.
Suddenly, she felt special. She was part of the process. And Mum still got the beautiful family photos she wanted.
I find that involving toddlers and giving them a job to do works magic.
It shifts their energy from resistance to collaboration.
Everyone feels seen. Everyone gets their moment.
This is what 15 years of experience looks like. Knowing when to adapt. Knowing how to make it work for every member of the family.
