You can watch the chat here<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/CaKLQogRn6\/\">https:\/\/fb.watch\/4Exl6jzbs0\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But just in case you don&#8217;t have time to watch it now I will quickly sum up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you ready?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-so-what-photography-activities-could-you-do-with-your-children-at-the-moment\">So what photography activities could you do with your children at the moment?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-n-1-is-surely-a-photo-scavenger-hunt\">N.<strong>1 is surely a Photo Scavenger Hunt!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is funny, kids of every age will enjoy it, I&#8217;m sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare a list with objects to photograph. I would suggest about 5-6 to start with if you have a toddler and about 15 for school-age children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For toddlers and children who cannot read yet use colours, shapes or simply draw (or print out) things they are familiar with and have to look for. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-activities-for-children-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"photography-games-for-children-list of objects to photograph\n\" class=\"wp-image-4392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-activities-for-children-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-activities-for-children-50x67.jpg 50w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-activities-for-children-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-activities-for-children.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For older children, you can get more creative! You know your children best so you will know how to challenge them. You can write a specific list of object you can find around the house (or\/and garden), you can ask for objects starting with a specific letter or of a specific shape. Or you can ask to photograph two things that thyme together. This will get their brain to work! \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there are siblings get them both involved! Maybe one could photograph a list of things but only a little detail and the other one has to guess what it is! This could be quite fun!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.photograface.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-games-for-children.jpg\" alt=\"photography games for children: girl photographing an item from a photo scavenger hunt.\" class=\"wp-image-4393\" style=\"height:600px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-games-for-children.jpg 600w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-games-for-children-50x67.jpg 50w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-games-for-children-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/photographybyvalentina.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/photography-games-for-children-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">My daughter had surely fun running around to find and looking for all the items<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-n-2-photograph-toys-and-make-a-story-book\">N.2 Photograph Toys and Make a Story Book<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask your child to grab his\/her favourite toy and to go on an adventure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allow your child to take the lead and come up with a great plot, taking the toy around the house or in the garden or out to your daily walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take photos while your child is holding teddy and jumping off the couch saying &#8220;let&#8217;s fly Teddy!&#8221; or a photo while Mr Dinosaur is chasing a little toy car and your child is narrating the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember what they say and then go to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/canva.com\" target=\"_blank\">Canva<\/a> (it&#8217;s free), upload the photos and add your child&#8217;s lines and some funny stickers. Then print it out and you will have a wonderful personalised book to read a bedtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think this is a great idea esecially for the little one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-n-3-stop-motion-videos\">N.3 Stop motion videos<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the grown up version of the previous activity. While little one will take a toy for an adventure, school-age children can create their own movie independently! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They could use an app called <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/gb\/app\/stop-motion-studio\/id441651297\" target=\"_blank\">Stop Motion<\/a> or I believe Lego has a similar feature in its app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But even a slideshow of the different photos they take with special filters and effects is surely something that will keep them busy for a while \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope this blog gave you some ideas and you are now inspired to try something out.
