Award-winning newborn photographer? That’s pretty exciting!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I know right? I was very excited when I got this news!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, today I received great news from the SWPP<\/a><\/span>,  Societies of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. The SWPP is one of the world’s largest and most important organisations for photographers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a monthly competition and as a member of this association, I can submit one image per category.  For me of course, it would be newborn or maternity. The competition is judged by some of the most esteemed Fellow, Master and Grand Master photographers in the UK and across the world. They look for composition, impact, lighting, creativity, photographic technique, and storytelling . . . and it’s not always easy to please the panel as the standard is quite high!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, no need to say I am over the moon about this result!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a photo inspired by nature and in particular by flowers. The idea is to create a little series of similar photos, this is already the second one. The first one also received an award, a Gold Award! Click here<\/span><\/a> to see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one I called it little calla lily flower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus, to make this week better,  I received another award for a newborn image I recently submitted on another completion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
